Davines Hair Refresher, R260.
What they say: Davines Hair Refresher can in fact be used as a shampoo emergency, such as a mild detergent for special cases (e.g. those with thin hair and oily skin who cannot use shampoo daily as it adds mechanical stress), but also as an instant volumizing styling product.
Its gentle formula made from rice starch, lemongrass oil and extracts of Lemon and Yuzu, makes hair lighter-bodied and pleasantly scented, while absorbing impurities with the help of the odour molecule. The renewal is immediate and regenerates hair in just a few minutes, without the need to use water and without leaving any residue.
An ideal product for travel, the unexpected invitation or the simple desire to feel in order in an instant, giving you all the delicacy and simplicity that allow you to feel in harmony.
Its specific formulation is conceived to refresh and clean all hair types without using water. It does not weigh the hair down while creating a full-bodied volume. Hair is scented and soft like just-washed, thanks to the starch that absorbs the excess of sebum.
What I say: Batiste has finally been knocked off its pedestal. This dry shampoo from Davines is without a doubt, the best dry shampoo I have ever used.
The mist is so fine that you can barely even feel it, let alone see it. It absorbed excess oil immediately, and didn’t leave my hair feeling grainy like other dry shampoos do.
The scent is very subtle, so doesn’t over power at all. That was my one gripe with Batiste – I could smell it all day long, and can smell it on other people too. That won’t happen with the Davines one.
Of course the price difference between this one and others is vast, but I think it’s completely worth it.
