{ REVIEW } Max Factor Crème Puff Blush

Max Factor Crème Puff Blush, R120

What they say: Sometimes, a subtle flush of colour is the look you’re after; other times, a more striking contoured finish is what you want. New creme puff blush is perfect for creating both, and everything in between thanks to its easy-to-build formula.

  • Multi-tonal pigments work with your skintone
  • Finely milled, marbled finish
  • Controllable formula allows you to build colour as required.
  • Ultra blendable – no visible blush lines

What I say: These are the best drug store blush discoveries in a while. They are baked, so will last ages and deliver great colour payoff.

I got the shades Lovely Pink (above left) and Alluring Rose (right). I cannot even begin to explain how pigmented they are. You need to just touch your blush to the dome, and you have enough product for a day time look. You can build the colour into a very dramatic hue should you wish, too.

There is no getting away from the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish comparisons. Yes, the MAC ones have a bigger surface area from which to collect product, but the Max Factor ones are more than adequate for blush. Quality wise, at less than a third of the price, the Crème Puff Blushes are the only sensible choice.

There are also two other shades to choose from, should neither of these be to your taste. You’ll find them exclusively at Clicks stores nationwide.
