I’m being teased with Spring fresh products this week, this one from Elizabeth Arden.
Honeysuckle is the latest addition to the Green Tea stable of fragrances from Arden. Green Tea Honeysuckle is a bright, fresh scent that will have you earning for warmer climes.
“For me, the honeysuckle is sheer exuberance in a perfume. When I smell it, I immediately think of the long welcomed spring and celebration of summer yet to come,” explains Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Perfumer from Givaudan. “I was also inspired by the extremely rich and decorative Art Nouveau floral prints. Their repeating patterns that weave flowers, leaves, birds and butterflies evoke nature and the honeysuckle vine.”
The top note is a bouquet of Boysenberry blossom, Green Tea vapours, lemon and tangerine. These give way to a heart of Wild Honeysuckle, Ylang Ylang, jasmine, Tunisian Neroli and green tea leaves. The base sees a heady hue of soft musk, sweet summer peach, Ambrette seed, white birch and nectar accord.
The scent is available in 50ml EDT for R215 and 100ml EDT for R315.
