SPA REVIEW | Langaro, Camps Bay
SPA REVIEW | Langaro, Camps Bay

First impressions
Literally a hop, skip and a jump from the hustle and bustle of the Camp Bay strip, Langaro offers a chic, urban sanctuary from the chaos down the hill.
The practically panoramic windows offer breathtaking views of the mountains and sea, which are spectacular, no matter what the weather.
What’s on offer?
What isn’t? The spa is what I’d call a full-service. Nail, hair, beauty, wellness, aesthetic and even your fashion needs can all be taken care of at Langaro. You can even book their boardroom for meetings, if you so wish.
My experience

My friend, Dani, asked me to join her there and I opted to have a mini mani and pedi. The nails stations are gorgeous and perfectly set-up for a girly catch up. The therapists were professional, quick and both did incredible jobs on our nails.

At first, Dani was adamant on her normal red hues, but after I plumed for Morgan Taylor’s Take Me To Your Tribe for my mani, she decided to get it on both her hands and feet. I went for OPI’s Amazon Amazoff on my toes.

My mani lasted 5 days and my pedi is still going strong.
Anthing else?
We were offered what ever we wanted to drink (we both opted for a glass of white wine). Bubbles, red, tea or coffee are other options.
Loves and loathes
The only thing I didn’t love about Langaro was having to leave.
The team
The spa is well-run and feels perefctly calm and welcome throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and the service was personalised.
Who will love it?
Tourists who want a beauty touch up and locals wanting to feel like they’re on holiday for a few hours.
