Ordinary Skincare Exfoliator, R260

What they say: Gentle exfoliator to gently buff and polish the skin, for softer feeling skin and a healthy glow. The action of biodegradable wax beads together with a small quantity of pumice help buff and restore skin tone, by softly polishing away dead cells for a brighter appearance.

What I say: I’m not normally one to like a physical exfoliator. My sensitive skin much prefers enzymatic or acid ones. But this new launch from Ordinary Skincare is gentle enough to not stress out my skin.

Firstly, I love the fact that it doesn’t contain any nasty microbeads, but instead makes use of biodegradable wax beads and very finely milled pumice (no foot scrub-like granules here).

The fine formula means that it gently sloughs away dead skin and leaves the skin feeling soft and healthy. I’m a sucker for the subtle rose geranium scent, too.

I’ve been using it once a week for a few weeks now, and my skin is loving it. It’s especially great now that I’m pregnant, as I’m finding my usual acid exfoliators too strong. Oilier skins will definitely be able to use it more often, as you won’t damage the skin like you can with harsher exfoliators.

Just like every other product in eth Ordinary Skincare collection, this is easy to add into your regular skincare routine without worrying about it clashing with other products.
