My skin had a terrible breakout few weeks ago. It My skin had a terrible breakout few weeks ago. It was bizarre because I hadn’t changed any products in my routine, but I finally traced it down to the Vitamin B supplements I was taking. Vitamins B6 and 12 can increase the bacteria on your skin that leads to spots – so annoying. Anyway. I’ve stopped taking the Vitamin B, and my skin is slowing clearing. Along with salicylic acid, I’ve been treating the very congested areas with charcoal masks, and this one from Sknlogic has been working a treat. Most charcoal masks dry out my skin, but this one and the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque aren’t drying at all. Each week, I want to feature products that will either solve a problem or are just a great treat. First up is this duo from Mavala. If you have chronically weak nails, this is your go-to team. My nails used to literally bend in half until I used Mavala Scientifique. Use it once or twice a week for a few weeks, and your nails will be stronger and harder (be careful not to over use, as it can cause them to become brittle).
