What I say: I was sent the A La Mode collection. This palette has 3 matte brown shades, one matte black, one matte white, 3 shimmering greys and one shimmering brown.
Whilst I have NO idea why you’d include matte white in any eye shadow palette, I do love the rest of the colours.
The colour pay-off is great from al of the colours. They blend easily and last well. I wore a natural smoky eye all day (08h00 – 17h00), and it still looked good at the end of the day.
My only wish with these (and all other) palettes is that they would start being sold with proper brushes instead of those hateful sponge pointy things that do nothing but to infuriate anybody trying to use them. These palettes are a great size for your handbag, but you will have to pop a brush in as well if you actually want to apply the shadow away from your dressing table. But this is a general complaint, and has no bearing on how much I love this collection!
