May Radar

I’ve got my eye on these 10 gorgeous products this month.

May

  1. BioNikeDefence Tolerance Essential Cleansing Water for Hypersensitive and Intolerant Skin, R129.95. I’m keen to see how this one pairs up against the others I’ve tried. A fairly unknown brand in SA (available in DisChem), this brand is big news in its native Italy.
  2. GOSH Kiss Moisturising Lip Balms in Sweet Kiss (pink) and Irresistible Kiss (red), R110 each. Cute chubby lip pencils from an amazing make up brand? Pretty sure I’m going to be hermetically sealed to these babies by the end of the month!
  3. Revlon Powder Blush in Racy Rose, R170. An old favourite gets a brand new look this month. Revlon blush has been a cult favourite for decades, so I can’t wait to fall in love with the latest version.
  4. Vita Liberata Self Tan. Products range from R135 – R965. This non-toxic and organic sunless tanning brand has recently landed on our shores from Northern Ireland. It promises no streaks, smell or uneven fading – big words to someone with my skin tone. I’m hoping that our shared roots will mean I’ll be thrilled with the results.
  5. Nuxe Nirvanesque Enrichie 1st Wrinkles Rich Smoothing Cream for Dry to very Dry Skin, R350. I haven’t met a Nuxe product I haven’t liked, so hope this rich day cream goes the same way.
  6. Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Boosting 5 Minute Facial, R795. Do any of you remember the pink peeling facial Arden used to have? I do – it’s still one of my favourite products ever. Sadly it’s no longer available, so I hope this will prove a perfect replacement.
  7. Garnier BB Cream Eye Roll-On in Light, R69.95. How much do I love Garnier? Let me count the ways. From the incredible peeps that brought us Caffeine Roll-On, comes BB Roll-On for eyes! Cannot wait!
  8. Catrice Ultimate Moisture Fresh Skin Make Up in Light, R99.95. Moisture, Fresh – they had me at that. But the formula looks good, so I’m hoping it has staying power too!
  9. Comfort Zone Renight Vitamin Integrator Antioxidant Night Face Oil, R535. Comfort Zone, tick. Antioxidants, tick. Face oil, tick. Something tells me this is going to be a winner.
  10. L’Oreal Elvive Tripe Resist X3 60 Second Saviour Intensive Conditioner, R74.95. After my catastrophic botched dye job last year, my poor tresses still need all the help they can get. This is the latest in a looooooong line of products promising to repair my hair. You’re up, Elvive, let’s see what you’ve got!
