I stumbled across this pen at the tills in The Body Shop a few weeks ago. My cuticles always get dry and sore at this time of the year, so thought I’d give it a try.

I’m pleased to report that it’s brilliant! You apply the oil with the brush applicator, which is great, as it means you don’t have to get oil on your fingers (unless you want to massage the oil in, but you don’t really need to). Once the oil has absorbed, you can use the rubber hoof at the top of the cap to gently push back your cuticles; leaving you with perfectly groomed nails in two easy steps.

If you suffer with dry cuticles, this will make a sensible addition to your handbag.
