Pantone colour(s) of the year 2016

This week Pantone announced that there will be not one but two ‘it’ shades for 2016.

Rose Quartz, as in the crystal, is a light pink that Pantone describes as “a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure,” has been partnered with Serenity, a cool blue hue that, according to Pantone,” comforts with a calming effect, bringing feelings of respite and relaxation even in turbulent times.”
