New ColorShow

Maybelline launches a 12 shade strong lipstick collection into the ColorShow range.

The new lipsticks are basically everything you’d want from one. Rich pigments? Check. Long lasting? Check. Moisturising? Check.

The formula feels like a cross between a wax and a gel – polar opposites, I know, but it’s the best way I can describe it. The glossy part helps keep the lips moisturised and the wax helps with longevity. It’s actually sold as having a ‘heat proof formula’ that locks in colour in humidity. Um, anyone else find this strange? I can’t comment on that, but it does last well, especially for the super moisturising pay off. The finish is a mid-way point too. It’s creamy – not glossy, but not entirely matte either.
