What I say: Hhhmm, I’m always wary of long lasting formulas that claim they’re for ‘all skin types’. Thankfully though this one isn’t too bad for dry skin.

That’s not to say I’m in love with it, either. You see, I’m not a huge fan of full-coverage foundation as it is, so add the long lasting into the mix, and I’m probably going to find something wrong with it.

The formula goes on easy enough – it’s liquid enough to blend relatively easily, although not with fingers or a sponge. This is definitely a brush application type of foundation.

When first applied, I found it looked and felt very mask-like on my skin. Now I realise it’s meant to cover everything, but it still seemed a bit too much like theatrical makeup to me.

After an hour or two, though, it settled nicely and was much more comfortable and looked like skin, rather than powder.

True to its word, it lasted AGES! I’m talking all day and well into the night. A sign of a good long lasting formula is how much comes off on your cotton pad at the end of the night. I have to say, it looked like all of it was still on my face, and it took a fair amount of elbow grease to get it off.

So overall, it 100% does what it says it will, but it’s just not a foundation I’ll personally be reaching for too often. If you have oily skin, or have a job that requires full makeup, though, this will be a winner. Oh, and it’s available in 17 shades, yes, 17, so there’s one for everyone.
