Untold’s new horizons

As if the Sunflowers and Green Tea launches weren’t enough for one season, Elizabeth Arden launches two more scents.

These ones are both from the Untold family. Untold Luxe is the stronger of the two, and is described as a ‘voluptuous floriental’.

Untold Luxe

Each layer of the fragrance represents a facet in an Untold woman’s personality:

Luxurious: orange flower and jasmine absolute

Mysterious: Tahitian vanilla bourbon absoloute and benzoin

Opulent: pink pepper and rose petals

Indulgent: cinnamon bark and white chocolate

Sensual: sandalwood and labdanum

It comes in the most exquisite box and bottle, both of which add to the luxurious feel of the scent.

On me, it settles quite well and leaves a spicy note that lingers all day. It’s a fragrance that I’ll wear on cooler evenings or in winter, as the top notes might be a bit sickly in the heat.

It’s available in 50ml EDP, R695 at selected Elizabeth Arden counters.

Untold Eau Fraiche

The other version is Untold Eau Fraîche and it’s amazing! The citrus floral notes are right up my street. Also, I adore anything with vetiver notes!

As with all the scents in the range, this too is made up of personality layers:

Vibrant: Sicilian lemon and juicy pear

Spontaneous: white tea and mandarin

Alluring: freesia and lily of the valley

Light-hearted: vetiver and white amber

Flirtatious: musk and cashmere woods

I’ve been switching between this and The Body Shop’s Italian Summer Fig for weeks now, and am completely enamoured with both!

Untold Eau Fraîche comes in 100ml EDT, R795 and is available at selected Elizabeth Arden counters.
