{ Review } Bioderma Hydrabio H20 Moisturising Make-Up Removing Micelle Solution

Bioderma Hydrabio H20 Moisturising Make-Up Removing Micelle Solution, R199.95 for 250ml and R299.95 for 500ml

What they say: A cleansing and make-up removing water that respects the fragility of sensitive skin and stimulates moisture.

Hydrabio H2O is the 1st and only dermatological micellar water perfectly compatible with the skin. Its fatty acid esters, the constituent elements of micelles, are similar to the phospholipids of the skin cell membranes and naturally help rebuild the skin’s hydrolipidic film. Thus, Hydrabio H2O guarantees unrivalled tolerance and comfort for optimum make-up removing efficacy. Moreover, its Aquagenium® exclusive biological patent retrains the skin to activate its natural moisturising capacities by stimulating the production of aquaporins, water channels in the skin, and retain the water it needs to be balanced.

What I say: My love for the Bioderma Sensibio H20 is no secret. I’ve used it for years and years – getting it brought over from Europe for me before it launched here in SA.

So it’s not surprising that I was ecstatic when I heard a version for dehydrated skin was launching.

It behaves in the same way as the original, but with skin hydrating properties. It easily removes all traces of makeup, including waterproof mascara without having to rub, but leaves the skin feeling moisturised.

The original version leaves the skin feeling clean – not dry, but not like it had just been moisturised. This version does; my skin feels like I’ve just applied serum after using it, which I love, especially at this time of year.

If you have dehydrated skin and want a hard-working makeup remover that won’t dry out your skin, this is definitely the one you’ll want to try.

It’s available at selected Clicks stores and comes in both 250ml and 500ml bottles.
