Filorga Optim-Eyes Express Anti-Fatigue Eye Patches

Filorga Optim-Eyes Express Anti-Fatigue Eye Patches (R670 for 8 single use pairs)

What they say: Optim-Eyes Express Anti-fatigue Eye Patch is an anti-fatigue mask for the area around the eyes. This express ten-minute treatment tackles all the signs of tiredness around the eyes.

Dark Circles (Stimulating Effect): An active substance extracted from yeast contains a high polysaccharide content, which restructures the capillary network and stimulates microcirculation to reduce dark circles.

Bags (Draining Effect): A complex of witch hazel soothes and calms the eye area treating skin irritations and draining the area around tired eyes to erase the haggard look. Floral cornflower water is known for its astringent and draining properties, which tighten tissues and reduce excess accumulation of blood in the vessels, causing bags to deflate. It provides an instant sensation of freshness and relief, whilst draining and calming the eye area to reduce bags.

Wrinkles (Hydra-lift Effect): A black carrageenan gel smoothes and hydrates the area around the eyes for a visibly smoother look.

Optim-Eyes Patch has a gel-film texture that provides a second-skin effect that allows it to perfectly follow the contour of the eye. This deep treatment can be used once or twice a week for maintenance and is also ideal for a refreshing boost before a special event. For a more radical lifting effect, the patches can be placed in the refrigerator.

What I say: I have a thing for eye patches. I love the Skin Republic Collagen ones (which are admittedly infinitely cheaper), but they don’t deliver quite the same results as these.

The Filorga ones lift firm and brighten the eye area in just 15 minutes and are, as they suggest, fantastic before a big event. I was honestly surprised at the immediate results, but as much as I love them, I do feel that R83.75 per use is pretty steep.

If you have big events coming up, or have a decent skin care budget, then these are the eye patches to go for. They are by far the best I’ve ever tried.
