My posts about Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea range are beginning to sound a lot like my Chanel ones – each launch is my new favourite and impossibly more exciting than the last.
This year’s version is Green Tea Mimosa (the flower, not my preferred breakfast beverage, sadly. I think they missed an opportunity there, but I digress).
Bright citrus Sicilian lemon and Florida grapefruit, and green tea vapors form the top note cocktail before giving way to a delicate floral Moroccan Mimosa Absolute, white violet, Osmanthus and acacia heart. The base is a herbaceous one thanks to heliotrope, Florentine Orris Absolute and Ambrette seed. The bottle is the brightest yet, and reminds me of bizarrely flavoured sweets you find in Asian supermarkets.
If you have simply just had enough of winter, want to be cheered up and reminded that warmer weather is on the way, pick up a bottle of this – it’s happiness in a bottle.
It launches today and is available at all Elizabeth Arden counters for R425 for 100ml EDT.
