Filorga Re-Oxygenating Micro-Peeling Lotion

Filorga Re-Oxygenating Micro-Peeling Lotion (R520 for 150ml)

What they say: A chemical peel is a wonderful way to tackle skin imperfections and help provide an even, glowing complexion. Now, thanks to Filorga you can get smoother, more radiant skin in the comfort of your home with Oxygen-Peel a new at-home, daily exfoliating lotion.

This refreshing, daily micro-peeling solution has three main actions:

Intense smoothing

Ultra-refreshing hydration

What I say: I adore this product, as per usual with Filorga. But, it has to be said that I love acids, and my skin gets on well with them. This formula contains phytic, glycolic, citric, mandelic, salicylic and gluconolactone, so if you react to any of these, them maybe steer clear.

I’ve used Pixi Glow Tonic for years, which is 5% glycolic, and as much as I love it, it’s a pain to have to import it. So I’m thrilled there is now a good one available locally.

I’ve been using this one for about 3 weeks, and I think it’s better than the Pixi. While the Pixi formula does contain hydrating ingredients, the hyaluronic acid and NCTF (Filorga’s super regenerating compound) combination in this one is far more hydrating.

The reoxygenation happens thanks to a protein molecule called Cytoglobin, that protects the cells from oxidative stress, and helps them to maintain effective oxygen transfer and storage.

You apply it with a cotton pad at night before your serum. I’ve noticed that my skin is clearer, brighter and definitely more plumped. It doesn’t sting, but does a great job of reducing the lifespan of pesky spots. It’s definitely going to become a staple in my skincare routine. Sorry, Pixi.
