News | Happy birthday, Placecol
In uncertain times like these, it’s always lovely to be able to celebrate milestones. 40 years in business for a local skincare brand is certainly something to celebrate.
Little did Elma McKenzie know that her skincare brand she started in Ermelo in the 80s would go onto having salons all over the country with fans all over the world. Created around her clients’ needs for healthy, glowing skin at all ages, Elma spent years developing and tweaking her products to deliver the best results using the best ingredients.
40 years on, now owned by the Imbalie Beauty, the brand has many accolades under its belt and is known for its wide range of effective skincare products, social responsibility and charitable projects.
To mark this year, Placecol has created the ’40 ways to celebrate you’ theme to share the celebrations with their customers. Split into eight categories – the 40 ways will incorporate self, health, spirit, relationships, family, joy, work and purpose. Follow the brand on social media and head over to their website for tips and advice on how to celebrate both large and small achievements throughout the year.
To get your Placecol fix, the salons will be opening up again soon, or you can book a one-on-one online skin consultation, or shop your favourites online from their website and Takealot, or from Edgars stores nationwide.
Share your Placecol favourites with the team by using #PlacecolTurns40 on social media.
