Absence makes the heart grow fonder, or it is Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder?

Well actually, thanks to The Body Shop, Absinthe makes the hands grow stronger. They have just launched an Absinthe Hand Care range.

Absinthe is an incredibly powerful medicinal extract (not in bottle form) of Wormwood, and has been used for centuries in preparations to treat a huge range of illnesses and ailments from curing Malaria to a brain stimulant.

It also has incredible anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties, which is why The Body Shop has decided to create a range with it. Thankfully, they didn’t leave it in its bitter natural state; they added Community Fair Trade shea butter to help soothe and nourish the skin, as well as bergamot, neroli and petit grain to give a gorgeous floral scent.

The range consists of 5 products: 30ml Hand Cream, R45; 100ml Hand Cream, R110; Hand Butter, R110; Hand Wash, R70; and Hand Gel, R35.
