Britney Spears wants to share her Island Fantasy
I’m convinced that every single post about Britney’s latest fragrance starts the same way – with the key line from one of her songs…
A quick Google search revealed that this is the 12th fragrance from the pop princess. Yes, you read correctly, 12th!
This one, called Island Fantasy is described as ‘a potion of succulent fruits and colourful blossoms, evoking warm sunshine, ocean breezes and glittering beaches.’
The scent was inspired by Brit’s love of the tropics. “Anytime I get a chance to getaway, I tend to go to the tropics – the sun and ocean are always a great escape for me. I wanted to create a fragrance with a tropical feel, and that’s exactly what island fantasy is.” explains Britney.
The fragrance opens on a fruit salad note of clementine, mandarin orange, red berries and watermelon. This gives way to a floral heart of jasmine, violet and freesia. The base is a sweet finish of musk and sugar cane.
It’s available in a gorgeous 100ml bottle for R425 from selected Edgars, Red Square, Foschini, Truworths, Clicks and Dischem stores.
