What they say: Get on-trend with a two-tone dip-dye style at home. With an easy and simple to use brush on style-creator tool, this hair colour look is easy to create.

Wild Ombrés is a revelation in the world of hair colour – fashion forward and celebrity inspired two-tone finish on a hair style that you can achieve in minutes.

The Kit

What we say: I used Ombré No 2 For Dark Blonde to Medium Brown, and was very impressed with the results. The kit contains a Lightening Powder (1) and Lightening Cream (3) which you add to the Developer Crème (2). Then shake to mix as you would normal colour. The clever bit comes in the form of the applicator brush. You divide your hair into two sections, and simply apply the crème to you hair with the brush. It seemed quite scary at first to apply such a big amount of the crème to the brush, but it combs through very evenly.

I let my hair develop for 30 minutes, although you can go any time from 25 to 45 minutes depending on how severe you want the contrast to be.

You rinse and wash you would a regular home dye. They also supply you with a Nuti-Ceramide Conditioning Shampoo to use once you’ve rinsed-out the colour.

No 2My hair did feel a little bit ‘crispy’ afterwards, but wasn’t expecting anything else, as you are basically bleaching your hair.

3 Ombre Kits

It was easy and quick to do – I would recommend this over spending hundreds of rands and hours at the salon! It is also available in No 1 For Light Brown to dark Brown hair and No 3 For Blonde to Dark Blonde hair.

ROUGE RATING: 5/5
