2015 Beauty Resolutions

Happy 2015, Rouge girls! I can’t believe another year has come and gone.

 2015

I want to thank you all for all your support in 2014 and can’t wait to share more gorgeous beauty posts with you this year. Rouge is going from strength to strength and my stats are climbing every month. I only have you, my readers, to thank for this. So thank you, each and every one of you for your continued support – I literally cannot do this without you.

Pantone have announced Marsala as the colour of the year for 2015, and I personally can’t wait to start wearing it on lids, lips and nails!

I’ve never been a huge resolution type person, but this year there are four beauty routine tasks that I’d like to make daily habits this year:

  1. Drink enough water, everyday. Having struggled with kidney issues when I was younger, I am normally really good at drinking enough water. But on days I’m not at my desk, I tend to drink less than I should. I’m going to make sure I always have a bottle of water on me wherever I am this year. My little sister, Liz is amazing at this – she always has at least one bottle about her person at any given moment.
  1. Apply SPF to my hands. I already apply SPF to my face everyday, and I try and apply to my hands too, but I do forget every now and then. I want to stop he forgetting bit this year.
  1. Apply cuticle oil and hand cream every night. Yes, there is a definite hand trend this year. My hands are hard working, and I never give them the attention they deserve – especially my weak, brittle, splitting nails. This is the year I get strong, healthy nails with soft hands to match.
  1. Daily dry skin brushing. I know how good dry skin brushing is for the skin (I tell you guys often enough), but only actually get round to doing it a few times a week. I want to up the ante in this department, especially after my homoeopath told me to work on my circulation. I also want to keep up with my Mira cup massages in the shower every day.
