5 new serums you should know about

There’s been a surge in serious skincare launches in the past few months.

Skin Serums

You guys know I love to give you in-depth and honest reviews, but as I only have one face, I can’t test them all at once. To keep you guys in the loop with what’s new and exciting, I’m going to tell you about the five that have caught my eye and that I will be testing in the next few months. So keep an eye out for full reviews, but in the meantime, here’s the basic info on each of them.

Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate

Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, R645 (50ml)

Okay, so this isn’t new, but is a product I’ve wanted to try for a while now.

This powerful serum contains a whopping 10.5% Vitamin C to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while improving the radiance and texture of the skin.

Kiehl’s Precision Lifting & Pore-Tightening Concentrate

Kiehl’s Precision Lifting & Pore-Tightening Concentrate, R895 (50ml)

The scientist at Kiehl’s have identified that sagging skin can cause pores to appear larger, creating an uneven skin texture. The targeted actives in this serum combat both sagging and enlarged pores.

Environ Intensive Avance DFP 312 Peptide Cream

Environ Intensive Avance DFP 312 Peptide Cream, R970 (30ml)

The potent cocktail of peptides in this cream fills fine lines, plumps skin and boosts radiance while increasing elasticity and hydration. I’ve been using this for a few days, and can already see a difference in my skin. I’ll keep you posted on the progress.

Babor Derma Cellular Ultimate A16 Booster Concentrate

Babor Derma Cellular Ultimate A16 Booster Concentrate, R1800 (30ml)

I’m so excited to try this new serum from Babor. It makes the claim that it’s new active, Retinew A16, is 16 times more concentrated and effective than Vitamin A. Pretty big words, huh? I’m a huge fan of Vitamin A, so am very keen to see if this serum lives up to it’s promises and price tag. Watch this space…

SkinPhD PauseAge Dermotox Serum

SkinPhD PauseAge Dermotox Serum, R495 (30ml)

This local brand has recently exploded onto the skincare scene. This serum promises to reduce muscular contractions and help to tighten the skin. So, basically Botox in a jar, but with hydrating properties and antioxidant protection. Could be a winner.
