What I say: Oooh! This is a winner, winner chicken dinner!

The texture if soft and velvety, and although the tint is peachy pink, it blends beautifully into the skin (on all skin tones – I tried it on them all!). It’s especially good on my skin, as I have a slightly yellow undertone, which the peach evens out well.

The instant blur effect is pretty impressive – it made me not want or have to wear foundation over the top. It evens out the complexion and hides fine lines instantly. Yep, Photoshop in a tube does exist, it would seem.

The delivery system is a clever bit of science, too. It managed to keep my t-zone shine free all day (I don’t suffer with excess oil, but after a few hours, my foundation does tend to slide off my t-zone), while hydrating my cheeks, which tend to be on the dry side.

After 8 hours, my foundation still looked flawless, my skin fresh and not a blotch or crease in site! If you want a primer that does exactly what it says it will, this is the one you want!

The Primer will be available at all Elizabeth Arden counters from 14 March.
