Believe it or not, Clarins have improved two of their cult favourites.
Their volumising mascara and eyeshadow quads get a formula facelift this season.
I love their Wonder Volume Mascara, so was keen to see how the new Supra Volume Mascara (R295) compared. This one delivers even more volume, and leaves the lashes incredibly black. The brush is the kind I love (I don’t get on with plastic or silicone brushes), and grips every single lash for an even application every time.
The formula contains a clever volume boosting complex to give you thicker lashes with every use. They say you have to use it daily for 4 weeks to see a serious difference, but I’ve been using it for about two weeks, and while I wouldn’t say my volume has increased, my lashes definitely look in much better condition.
Clarins eyeshadows have long been a staple in my make up bag – I adore my Eye Quartet Mineral palette in Forest. The new ones are just as good, although I can’t see a huge difference between the older versions and the new ones, I think the colour ways of the three new palettes are fantastic, and will suit every one.
The new 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palettes (R495 each) are available in Nude (seen below), Rosewood and Oud; each a perfectly complimented quad of everyday wearable neutrals with a dark shade that can be used as a liner or to create more dramatic smoky looks.
Like the original palettes, the formula creases very little and lasts until you remove it at the end of the day.
You’ll find the collection at Clarins counters countrywide.
