Birthday week giveaway: Avène

It’s my birthday week, and I’m celebrating by bringing you a week of giveaways. Each day, I’m launching a giveaway from one of my favourite brands that have partnered with me to giveaway some of my all-time favourite products. Each will have different criteria, so be sure to read the posts carefully.

First up is from the wonderful people at Avène. The French pharmacy brand has been curing patients of skin ailments for centuries with their thermal spring water. It is the unique composition of this water that allows Avène to continue to treat and soothe compromised skin.

Patients have been coming to the Saint-Odile spring since 1743, and today the Avène Hydrotherapy Centre treats 2600 patients a year.

All Avène products contain this unique thermal spring water, and thanks to clever technology, the water we use in the products is completely sterile without the use of preservatives. The first time we touch it is the first time it is exposed to light to air, so is in the same condition as it would be straight from the source.

While the trace elements and mineral composition of the thermal spring water is ideal for treating damaged skin, it is also beneficial for normal skin, as it helps to balance and protect the skin’s natural barrier, while hydrating and nourishing the skin beneath.

I have a full set of the new Trixera Nutrition range to giveaway to one lucky reader. This range is indicated for dry, irritated skin, but works wonders on winter-harassed skin, too. You can read my full review of this trio of products here and you can learn more about the brand and its thermal water here.

To stand a chance of winning the trio of Trixera Nutrition products, do your research and let me know in the comments below how many sizes the Avène Thermal Spring Water comes in (hint: there is a link in this post that will take you straight to the answer.)

Entries close at 5pm on Friday 24th May 2019. Open to South African residents and only one entry per person will be counted. Good luck!
