Have you tried the Anti-Spot Intensive Even Tone Serum? This is the best product they have for treating dark spots.
The whole range is designed for removing dark spots, but it does take time.
Also – are you wearing sun cream every day? If you are going in the sun without protection, you’ll just be making new dark spots.

I hate the fact that I chose this product my face is so damaged that I’m so depressed because of this. Have you been using sunscreen? Also the product is not for spots or acne, it’s for pigmentation. If you use the wrong type of product for your skin concerns, it won’t work, and can make it worse.
Maybe use a product designed for spots, and not one for pigmentation.

How do I use this skin care regime? Step by step? What to use first. Followed by what then what and so on. Do I need the day lotion if I have the day cream? Help.

Sure – you use it the same way you would an other programme. So start with the foam cleanser, then the toner. Then as far as the creams, serums and lotions go, the rule is ‘thinnest first’. Apply the product with the thinnest consistency first, so in this case, it’s the serum. Serums always go on before creams and lotions. If you are not using the serum, then go straight to the eye cream.
If you’re using it, apply the serum next, then apply the eye cream. Then if it’s day time, use either the lotion or the cream. Generally creams are for dryer skins, and lotions for oiler skins – so this depends on your skin type.
Follow the same routine at night, but instead of the day cream or lotion, apply the night treatment.

It protects against both UVB burning rays and the deep penetrating UVA rays that are the main cause of dark spots. You can use the Blemish Prevention UV Cream in place of your daily moisturiser. There are so many! If you have dry skin, I wouldn’t use a foam cleanser, I would use a cream cleanser as it will be less drying.
My favourite brand for dry skin is Vichy – they are the dry skin experts.

If anyone can give me a sample that can proof that it will or can reduce wrinkles, dark rings around eyes and sun spot then I will gladly be that products servant for the rest of my life.
I have being using very expensive products that cost me as much as R2000.00 per item and there are no improvement. I even used emo oil for wrinkles. So I am very sceptical with all these lovely promises just to make money out of someone.
When I a sk for a sample, the reply is usually, “mam, we do not have samples you have to buy the cream, if it did not work for you within one month then we will refund you in full even if there is no more cream left” guess what? I bough a very very expensive cream which would work immediately and within two weeks I would’ve look 5 years younger. I took photos for the before and the after, I was so excited but one month later and barely no more cream in the jar and no improvement I went back and gues what I was told. “Jinne mevrou jy kan nie jou geld terug kry nie, jy het dan so te sê die hele pot cream opgebruik. Mevrou moet net aanhou met die cream, dit sal seker nog werk”

Yes, you can use this product 🙂 Just don’t expect to see a difference in a few days. It takes a month or two for your skin to show results.
If you work-out I would suggest that you use a sunblock every day. Eucerin and Nivea have great options.

I would use the daily moisturiser first – does this one have an SPF? If it does, then use it until it’s finished, then switch to the UV Cream. But if your current cream doesn’t have an SPF, apply the UV cream on top of the daily one.

In theory, yes, you could use Pond’s. But I would suggest you rather try another brand with Men specific products. Guys skin is naturally oiler than women’s, so if you are struggling with excess oil, it might be better to use products developed for male skin.
Have you tried Garnier or L’Oreal products? Beaucience is a local brand that also has a great men’s range. Have a look at their range here: http://beaucience.co.za/?page_id=230
Also, try and not over-cleanse your skin. If you use harsh products that strip your skin, it will only produce more oil to compensate.

Greetings.I’m 17 years old and only started using ponds this year (2013) after someone I know recommended the product to me. After my mom bought me the Ponds,perfect colour complex beauty cream I started to use it from the end of August up until now “end of September” ever since then my skin has shown no results all I get is pimples and other parts of my skin keep getting darker. That’s not cool, but like I’ve told other readers (have a look in the other comments), these products are for pigmentation, and not acne and spots. So you are trying to treat a problem with a remedy for another – it’s not going to work for you. Rather look for products to treat your spots rather than one for pigmentation.
Garnier and L’Oreal have great options.

I have 2 questions please! I have just started the ponds perfect colour complex for uneven skin tone and to tighten pores. Q1. Is it better to have your pores tightened or unblocked? I believe that when your pores are unblocked, it exfoliates your skin to open up for more pimples. Tight pores give no room for pimples, right? To answer your second question first, yes, it’s completely fine to mix ranges. And well done on looking for sun protection!
As for the first question, it’s quite tricky to explain, as no product can actually ‘tighten’ your pores. Your pores are either blocked or unblocked, but products can’t open or close them. Your pores react to heat and cold, and are used by your body as a way to protect and regulate itself. And although pimples can be caused by blocked pores, most blemishes are actually caused from within (hormones, diet etc).
So to answer your question, it’s alway better to have clean, but not stripped skin (never use harsh astringents, as these will make your skin produce more oil, and in turn, block your pores).

Well nothing really, but it will make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It contains a higher percentage of the ingredients that help fight pigmentation. If you wear the Night Treatment during the day without sun protection, your pigmentation will get worse. I would rather stick to using the products when they are designed to be used.

I am 52 years old ; have a sensitive and dry skin of late; I always react to products and im now having hyperpigmentation on my face and dark circles around the eyes; I just started using ponds flawless genactive mixing it with Revlon serum and toner the reason being I was afraid to buy the whole range incase I react, but so far I don’t have any problems.

There’s no reason why not. If you’re worried, though, try and add one new product at a time. That way, if you do break-out you’ll know which product caused it.
Just remember to wear sun protection every day to prevent new dark marks from forming.

I have been using the Flawless radiance range for almost two weeks now(minus the facial foam wash). I have seen a huge difference even from the first day of use. My dark spots and acne spots are fading slowly and no pimples. My skin feels soft. However, i have seen an increase in black heads appearing. You need to switch the UV and the day cream around. Wash, toner, day cream and then UV cream at the end. Your sun protection always needs to be the last product you apply.

Yes, it’s safe to use while breast feeding.
Having said that, the reason why your dark marks are so stubborn is because your hormones are probably still settling down after having your baby. Pregnancy can make your skin very sun sensitive. So persevere for a few more months, and make sure you apply a broad spectrum sunscreen every single day.

The Garner Dark Spot Corrector is great for marks. If you have a big budget, then you could try the REN Resurfacing AHA Concentrate (available at selected Woolworths stores). Which ever one you choose, make sure you wear sun protection every day to prevent further marking.

I’m not sure what you mean by clearing a dark neck? Lightening products are illegal in SA, so you won’t find any product that can change your over all skin colour.

I’m very disappointed.i started to use ponds since I was 17 years now I’m 25 years.i start from vanishing cream. Then I move perfect colour complex with the green tea, my skin was looking good and people they start noticing that there is something change on my face. Sadly no, I don’t think so. Whitening products are illegal in SA. This range simply helps to reduce the appearance of pigmentation.
You’ll probably have to go to a dermatologist to get a professional recommendation.

Do you use a broad spectrum SPF every day? If you don’t wear sun protection, it doesn’t matter what other products you use on your skin, as the sun causes the dark marks. So make sure you’re protecting your skin every single day.

I know – it is a problem with most skincare, so I would advise you wear an additional sun protection cream over the top of your day cream.
The Flawless Radiance Blemish Prevention UV Cream does contain SPF15, but I presume this isn’t high enough for you?

Ponds Stole My RADIANCE!!!! I did the 7 day challenge using the ‘flawless radiance’ even tone day cream and foam cleanser. After 7 days, my spots were darker and my face was darker. I am unemployed and I rarely come out of the house. when I do, I use SPF 50 sunscreen and wear protective clothing. I toned and did the full regime with ponds but I just got darker and my patches became more visible… stay away from ponds, it worked for some but not me.

No, you should apply sunscreen last (after your day cream).
Also, if you are still getting pigmentation, you should use a higher SPF and stay out of the sun.
The 20 minute rule is for after you’ve applied sun protection. So apply and then go into the sun 20 minutes later.
Please also remember that SPF is only a time indication – times the number of minutes it would take you to burn by the SPF, an that gives you the total time of protection you have. For example, I would burn in 5 minutes. If I wore SPF20, I would times 5 by 20, which equals 100 minutes in the sun before I would have to reapply. You also need to make sure you have both UVA and UBV protection (SPF ONLY covers UVB rays). Look for the UVA sign inside a circle on the packaging to make sure you’re getting UVA protection.

Garnier’s Pure Actives range as well as Cetaphil’s Dermacontrol are both great for oily skin.
Pores don’t have muscles, so can’t be made smaller, but by following a good skincare routine, you can minimise their appearance. Both of these ranges will help.

Hi, I’m using the flawless radiance range now for the past two weeks. Face wash, toner, serum(am and pm) lotion and sunblock. I missed a few days of applying the lotion and uva.- 2 days. Yikes, ok.
Firstly, make sure you never miss a day of SPF again. You HAVE to use it every single day when using products like this, or you can make the condition worse.
I know the serum is indicated for morning and evening use, but maybe just use it at night for now, and see how that works. And the same goes for the toner. I personally loathe toners, as I think they do more harm than good. So just try using it at night for a while, and see how your skin goes.
