These are the trends and products that we thought were beyond strange, but we have grown to love.
First up is Gaga’s fragrance, Fame. Rumoured for months to smell of semen and blood, we were pleasantly surprised when it smelt of soft flowers, spices and incense. And the first black juice ever? Genius! Well done Mother Monster!
Colourful lashes was a trend that we thought would stay buried in the 80s, but no. They’re back with a bang, and here to stay. And we’re happy about this thanks to Inglot’s Colour Play Mascaras.
Nail decoration reached new levels this year too! Caviar (beads), leather, glitter and velvet finished were seen on nails everywhere! We still hate little diamante’s and stickers, though.
Then there was pastel. It quietly comes and goes each year, but this season it shood around and shouted and stamped its feet for attention.
And finally, I was introduced to Bellabaci facial cups. A what-a-whatta? Looks scary, huh? Most definitely not! These babies massage your skin, and remove toxins, boost connective tissue and increase blood flow. My new BFFs.
