Hmm, yes, I too often wonder who the hell writes this stuff… but nevertheless, the scent is vibrant and energizing. It opens to a fresh hit of Golden Delicious Apple (the ‘Big Apple’ connection with NYC thing is getting old now. DKNY, I mean you too), peach and bergamot. This gives way to a tropic heart of black currant, peony, plum blossom and night blooming jasmine (also in Issey’s new scent). The base is a rich note of sandalwood, golden amber, vanilla and tonka beans.
