March Radar Round Up

It was 10/10 for my March products!

March-Radar

  1. TRESemmé Oil Elixir For Colour Treated Hair, R119.99. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It doesn’t have the same texture as Moroccanoil, and didn’t absorb as well, but not bad at all for the price. If R400 is out of your budget for Moroccanoil, this is the best alternative!
  2. Nyx La Amoureux Individual Curl Mascara, R134.95. A great everyday mascara. It delivers a natural finish with no tarantula eyes in sight.
  3. Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Foundation, R345. This is the best foundation I’ve tried in a while. It has a soft, velvety texture and left my skin feeling and looking super hydrated.
  4. Filorga Skin Structure Firmness Redefining Serum, R785. Mum raved about this product. She said it left her skin feeling soft and supple, and after using it for 5 weeks has seen an improvement in the firmness of the skin around her jaw.
  5. Avon Ultra Colour Lip Crayons in Reddy for Me and Carefree Coral, R119.95 each. Just brilliant! They have a deep colour payoff and are now a constant in my handbag.
  6. Clarins Instant Concealer, R310. Yay! Best. Concealer. Ever.
  7. Payot Eau Dermo-Micellaire Soothing Cleansing Water, R295. This offering from Payot was just fabulous – it removed all traces of make-up (with the exception of waterproof mascara, which was to be expected). However, it’s more expensive than the Bioderma, so wouldn’t swap to this one, purely based on price.
  8. Comfort Zone Absolute Pearl Night Serum, R905. Holy moly this is brilliant! I had 3 stubborn sunspots on the right side of my face from driving, and they have almost disappeared after just 4 weeks of using this serum. I’m going to make it a permanent feature in my skincare routine.
  9. SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF50, R554. I was expecting great things from this sunscreen, and it delivered! The texture is light and absorbs almost immediately. It also played very well with my other creams and serums, so a winner on all fronts!
  10. Environ RAD Spray SPF25, R295. Big hugs to Dr Des, who has finally given the RAD fans a body spray version. IT lived up to all expectations and I have used it every single day since the beginning of the month. And in even better news, my glove tan has completely faded!
