Maybelline Clear Smooth All In One Powders

Maybelline has just launched some very smart powder compacts.

The Clear Smooth All In One Powders not only control shine, they also blend away imperfections, smooth the complexion and last for ages.

The scret to all these benefits lies in new ‘perlite’ technology that enables the powder to absorb excess oil and sebum without going cakey. Traditional powders are made-up of millions of tiny grains, while this new technology changes this to million of tint mirco sponges, delivering a smoother finish.

There are 9 shades available, 6 of which, I’m very happy to announce, have been developed specifically for dark, South African skins. Research carried out by Maybelline in South Africa showed that many foundation and powder products developed aboard for black skins tends to go ashy, and look quite unnatural. They researched the undertones and complexions of South Africa women to come up with 6 shades that will work with local girls’ skin colour, without the ashiness.

Each of the powders contain SPF25 to prevent sun damage and pigmentation. The compacts they come in contain a handy mirror, so you can touch-up on the go!
