What I say: Oh my goodness! This is one fabulous launch from Arden. I love the Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Foundation, but this is just next level. Joining the rest of the Prevage stable, this is a foundation with punch.
The formula is so hydrating and illuminating; it makes you feel like you have new skin. I would say that it’s more on the lighter coverage side of the scale. It is buildable to a certain extent, but I’ve literally never applied more than one layer of foundation because honestly I just couldn’t be bothered. Thankfully I’m not a full coverage foundation kind of girl. I do on the odd occasion go all out, but 95% of the time I opt for formulas just like this.
The fact that it contains skincare benefits and high SPF just makes my heart sing. I always apply antioxidant and sun protection anyway, but I believe you can never have enough.
If you have oily skin, I would steer away from it, as it is super nourishing and may be a bit too so for your skin. But girls with dry to normal skin will just adore it! It’s available in 8 shades, too, so there’s one for everyone.
And while I’m at it, I have to sing my praises for the fabulous new Dual End Contour Foundation Brush (R395). Hands down the best foundation brush I’ve ever used. The curved foundation brush has synthetic bristles for even, smooth application and the flat concealer brush blends almost as well as my fingers, despite being baby soft. If you are in the market for a new foundation/concealer brush, this is the one you should get!
