Black Opal Color Splurge Luxe Lipsticks

A few months ago I got a sneak peek at the new lipstick shades Black Opal will be launching next year.

Earlier this year they launched their Color Splurge Luxe Lipstick collection with two variants, matte and crème. Matte is currently available in Sassy (mid-purple), Fashion Fuchsia and Vampy Red. The current Crème offering consists of Fantasia Plum and Ebony Wine.

The Matte Lipsticks are hydrating and provide long-lasting colour in a modern matte formula. The formula is non-drying and glides on velvety smooth and pampers lips with intense colour for maximum impact.

The Crème Lipsticks impart creamy yet intense colour in a single sweep. The formula is fortified with long-lasting moisture-binding ingredients to smooth and restore fullness to lips.

Next year we can look forward to the launch of 3 new shades in each variant. My favourite of which is this – Crème in French Pink.

The current range is available in selected Edgars, Clicks, Foschini and Truworths stores. The Matte Lipsticks are R109 each and the Crème ones R95.
