The LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint mystery

I’ve been reading such mixed review on the LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints that I decided to give them a go myself.

And I think I’ve gotten to the bottom of the mixed reviews – I got two shades, and the pink one was substantially better than the other. No I don’t know if this is down to the different pigments or if it’s because of incorrect transportation and storage. But it is very apparent that there is something amiss.

The pink shade, Blushed, was great. It went on evenly and stayed put fairly well. (I didn’t expect a formula this glossy to last).

But the red shade, Pin-Up, was patchy, sticky and honestly horrible to wear.

Sorry to add to the confusion on this, but I honestly loved the one and hated the other…? They are sealed in store, so you can’t even test the formula before your buy them. Very strange.

I feel exactly the same. Even with the matte finish lip products. It seems like the less bright a colour, the better the formulation. I also have Pin-up and I prefer to use it as a bit of a stain, which I just pat on with my fingers, over loads of babylips, since it is a bit drying.
