Avène D-Pigment Light

What they say: Eau Thermale Avène D-Pigment Light Dark Spot Lightener is a treatment for normal to combination skin which corrects localised or widespread brown spots, prevents the appearance of new brown spots and evens out the skin’s complexion. Enriched with shine-reducing powders to leave skin soft and shine free.

Eau Thermale Avène D-Pigment combines 3 active ingredients:

– Melanyde to slow down the production of melanin (pigment)

– Retinaldehyde to help eliminate excess melanin in the skin

– Pre-tocopheryl, a vitamin E precursor (powerful antioxidant) to protect the skin cells from free.

Apply in the evening to affected areas (face, hands and decolleté). For very sensitive skin, light stinging and flaking can occur at the beginning of the treatment. In this case, it is best to apply the product every other day. During periods of sun exposure remember to use a sun protector to help prevent the damaging effects of the sun, which intensify hyperpigmentation. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What I say: Keep the French pharmacy brand coming, Clicks! This is the best product yet!

It’s a serious pigmentation fighter, and even though it says it’s for normal to combination skin, my dry skin dealt with it just fine. (It is used to retinol, so maybe this is why I got on with it so well).

I had very mild flaking after about a week of using it, but a month in, my pigmentation has all but disappeared! It’s delivered everything it promised and more. I’m so annoyed with myself that I didn’t take ‘before’ photos so I could show you, but I honestly didn’t think it would make that much of a difference. It has – it looks like I’ve had a very effective peel!

If you’re struggling with pigmentation, it’s well worth giving this a try!

I want to asked …you use this for whole face?
I do not understand when exactly to use in the evening. What time is it to be? If I use before bed is it can?

    Hi Sabrina

Yes, that’s correct. Apply it to your whole face.
I apply my evening skincare as soon as I clean my face.

    Hope this helps,
