Review | Burt’s Bees Mango Moisturizing Lip Balm
Anyone else struggling with chapped lips from wearing a mask? Please tell me I’m not alone.
I’ve tried quite a few formulas, and most of them just end up a sticky mess on the inside of my mask.
A few weeks ago, I was sent one that has risen above all the others I’ve tried. Burt’s Bees sent me their Mango Moisturizing Lip Balm.
The formula is 100% natural and, along with beeswax and coconut oil, it is enriched with nourishing mango seed butter to soften and deeply hydrate.
It feels like a butter when it goes on, but quickly melts into the skin, leaving the lips soft and plump. I leaves my lips hydrated for hours after I use it, and I haven’t found that it makes my skin dry with extended use (I often get that with lip balms – the more your use, the more you need, but not with this formula.)
You can get your hands on a tube at Dis-Chem and Takelaot for R75 each. There are a few other ‘flavours’, too, if you’re not a mango fan.
