A 3-in-1 treatment for sensitive scalps

Consumer demand seems to be making bigger changes within the beauty industry than ever before, and thankfully at the most incredible rate, too.

So many people struggle with sensitive scalps, and until recently the only option was either dandruff treating hair care, or hair type based products, neither of which address scalp issues. Dandruff is caused by bacteria living in the oil on the scalp, which, in turn creates a fungus that causes the itchiness so often associated with the condition. But not all itchy scalps are caused by dandruff, and by treating a sensitive, irritated scalp with dandruff fighting products; you will often make the problem worse.

Growing demand has resulted in products that target sensitive scalp (just like sensitive skin needs special care, as does the scalp). I never struggled with sulphate-based shampoo until my pregnancy, and I haven’t been able to use one for more than a few days since without getting a reaction. This lead me to test every sulphate free shampoo I could find.

Inoar has just launched a fantastic new product developed for people with the same issue as me. Inoar Sensitine (R560) is a 3-in-1 product that works as a shampoo, condition and scalp treatment in one application. The formula is a rich cream that massage onto wet hair and scalp, comb through and then rinse out. Yep, it’s as quick and easy as that. If my hair has product build-up, I leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. It’s a bizarre texture to get used to, and I know it sounds like it wouldn’t clean your hair in a month of Sundays, but it honestly really does!

It can clean and nourish thanks to a pretty serious formula. It contains AHAs to gently leanse without drying.

Asian Centella extract helps to boost blood circulation in the scalp, while niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and Allantonin Scalp (an active ingredient from Comfrey root) reduce inflammation and zinc helps to heal any irritation.

A host of moisturisers completes the line up to hydrate the hair and scalp without causing oiliness.

I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now, and am so impressed with the results. It took a few washed for my hair to settle into the new routine, but now it is healthier and glossier than it’s been in years. My scalp is much happier, too. It doesn’t get as greasy and isn’t itchy at all. If you struggle with scalp issues, or are just keen to try a sulphate-free formula, this one is well worth a look at.
