Guess who’s back, back again… Jane Seymour!

No, I guess that wasn’t what you were thinking, but yes, the cult classic hair brand is back with a bright bang!

This brand is quite nostalgic for me, not because I used it a lot when I was younger, but it was a firm favourite with hair stylists on shoot in the 2000’s. The smell just reminds me of being on set.

The brand is back, and better than ever before with, thankfully, updated packaging – who remembers this?

There are 5 new products in the Wonder Set range, each enriched with Pro Vitamin B5 to deliver hair care as well as styling. I’ve tried each of them, and am happy to report that none of them leave the hair sticky or like it’s been enrobed in wood glue.

The Ultra Hold Hairspray (R38.99 for 145ml and R49.99 for 400ml) stays true to its name, and will held my hair in place all day, even in the South Easter. It delivers a firm hold with a super-glossy finish.

The Liquid Hairspray comes in Firm Hold or Ultra Hold (R46.99 for 125ml and R69.99 for 300ml), and is ideal for tackling those pesky flyaways and fluffy bits. I always get those around my hairline, and this keeps them in place without going stringy.

My favourite is the Curl Control Mousse (R82.99 for 240ml) because it delivers beautiful definition and hold for my curls all day, while leaving them soft and bouncy.

The last in the collection is the Ultra Hold Mousse (R82.99) that offers super volume and hold from root to tip, without compromising on finish.
