Review | Oola Skincare Organic Marula Oil
I’ve got another pink gem for you today. This Organic Marula Oil from Oola Skincare is amazing!
I’ve always enjoyed using oil on my body, but have found very few formulas that work as well on my face (with the notable exceptions of Nuxe Prodigieuse and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream All Over Miracle Oil). This proudly local oil is packed full of antioxidants and helps to reduce pigmentation and scarring.
The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue on the skin (keeping in mind, I have normal to dry skin). The natural scent of Marula oil is sweet and woody – not at all overbearing.
I’ve been using it for a few months now, every few nights with my gua sha. Immediately after application, my skin is plump and dewy, and for hours afterwards, it has a wonderful glow. The texture of my skin has improved and my fine lines are definitely not as noticeable.
I’ve also been using it on my cuticles, elbows and knees, too. And it works incredibly well on the super dry skin in those areas as well. It’s a wonderful all-rounder, and think it will become a must-have on my vanity during the cooler winter months.
Each bottle of Oola Skincare Organic Marula Oil (R600) contains 30ml of local, sustainably-sourced, organic Marula oil. 30ml might not seem like a lot of product, but you really only need a few drops at a time, so one bottle will last you ages.
You can get your hands on this little pink bottle of magic on Oola Skincare’s website here.
