Filorga’s Detox Body Treatment has three main actions:

Nourishing Action – a feather-light, creamy mousse containing Shea butter nourishes, softens and protects the skin from within, repairing damage caused by environmental factors.

Detox Eliminating Action – quercetin dimers, an extract of the flowers of Sophora japonica (a tree native to China), act as a skin-purifying agent. These molecules contain physical antioxidant properties, whilst at the same time stimulating the skin’s natural detoxifying mechanisms. A plant-based complex consisting of Goldenrod flower extract, lemon peel extract and Butchers Broom extract helps to combat the swelling, loss of firmness and feeling of heaviness created by water retention. Butcher’s Broom improves venous tone and increases vascular elasticity, helping to increase circulation. Goldenrod flower and lemon peel extracts improve resistance and reduce capillary permeability to provide an anti-oedema effect and decongestant action.

Chemical Peel Action – directly inspired by Filorga’s expertise in chemical peel solutions, Detox Body Treatment includes glycolic acid for a skin-resurfacing effect on the legs, thighs, neck and décolleté, resulting in smoother skin with fewer imperfections. Filorga’s patented NCTF formula with Hyaluronic acid helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improves skin elasticity, hydration and radiance, giving the skin a healthy glow.

What I say: You guys know how much I love Filorga products, right? Well, believe it or not, this is my favourite!

The texture takes a little getting used to, as it’s a foam, rather than a cream or gel. It takes a while to absorb, but no longer than a rich cream would.

I’ve been using it on my thighs and décolleté for a few weeks now, and can’t believe the difference in my skin. The texture is softer and even. I suffer with bumpy ingrown hairs on my legs and they’ve all but disappeared.

The moisturisation is incredible, too. I always apply it in the mornings after my shower and can still feel how hydrated the skin is when I get into the shower the next morning!

I can’t say there’s been any noticeable toning, but perhaps this needs more time to see results – I’ll keep you posted.
