The best body exfoliator. Ever.

It’s no secret that I love a body scrub. The latest one that landed on my desk, though, has been a game changer.

We’ve all been using acids on our faces for ages (well, some of us), but finding good and, more importantly, affordable acids for the body is quite another task.

The optiphi Body Curve β-Body Wash Polishing Body Cleanser (R267) is my favourite launch of the year – I know we have 2 and a half months to go, but I doubt anything will surpass this.

With lactic acid to increase cell turnover, increase ceramide production and help maintain the skin’s moisture levels; and salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells, normalize oil production and increasing cellular turnover, this is a serious body wash with medical benefits.

The clear gel lathers into a gentle foam and gently exfoliates the skin. You can apply it with your hands and rub over your body, but if you’re me, you use it on a Moroccan body scrub glove from Marrakech, and give your skin the best scrub of your life.

I’ve been using it once a week for just over a month, and I’m just in love with it now as I was the first time I used it. It leaves your skin so incredibly soft and hydrated. It honestly feels like you have a new skin – and in a way that I’ve NEVER had in a spa or with any other body exfoliator.

If you’ve had a self-tan disaster, I reckon this would eradicate it if you left it on for a few minutes.
