New in | Les Fleurs de CHANEL

As the weather slowly changes into the cooler months, trust CHANEL to bring the joy of spring to blustery autumn days.

What could be more wonderful than wearing a collection entirely inspired by flowers as we head into the depth of winter? Les Fleurs de CHANEL was created by Lucia Pica (the brand’s Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer) to evoke the emotions flowers give us.

Taking a lead from nature herself, the collection is an exquisite array of natural hues, highlighted with shimmering golds and corals. Rust, copper and pink also appear, with delicate contrast across eyes, lips, skin and nails. The range of colours means you can wear it as a natural, bare look, or opt to go extravagantly bold, with shine and pops of colour. The colours Lucia chose are universally flattering, giving each skin tone a chance to create its own version of the collection.

The eyes are adorned with glistening copper and earth tones in the form of two beautiful Les 4 Ombres (R1105 each): Golden Meadow and Bouquet Ambré, two Ombre Première Laque (R655 each): Wild Rose and Bucolique, and a subtle sweep of brown on the lashes from Le Volume De CHANEL Metal Terracotta (R720).

Lips are punchy and bold with Rouge Allure Laque in Pavot Rouge and Dark Blossom (R780 each) (Look out for my review of these beauties soon), and Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême in Pivoine Noire and Éclosion (R760 each).

The nails are pretty and elegant in Le Vernis in Pensée, Anthurium and Metallic Bloom (R535 each).

And finally, the skin is given an ethereal glow thanks to the Exclusive Creation Fleurs de Printemps (R1335), an absolutely gorgeous peach highlighter and pinky coral blush duo.

After the year that 2020 was, this collection is just what we all need; pure joy. By taking us back to the playful element of makeup, and making the wearer feel like the whole planet is in spring, with new opportunities and light on the horizon.

You’ll find the Les Fleurs de CHANEL collection at all CHANEL counters now.
