Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon (& giveaway)
We all know our skin repairs itself at night, so it makes sense it help it along.
I hardly ever use night creams, as I find most of them far too rich – even my dry skin. That was until I tried Dermalogica’s Sound Sleep Cocoon (R1399 for 50ml).
This transformative night gel-cream helps to optimize that overnight recovery within your skin. It contains actives to beat the signs of fatigue, calm any irritation, deeply hydrate and generally ensure you wake up with brighter, plumper skin than you went to sleep with. Sound too good to be true?
I thought so too, but the proof is in the results. It’s not often I can say that I wake up looking like I’ve literally just had a facial, but that’s exactly what it does, and I’ve really out it to the test.
My insomnia has been horrific for the last few months, and some nights I’m awake by 23h30 and I stay awake until the next night. Obviously the days after, I’m not feeling great, but on more than one occasion, people have commented on how glowy my skin looks – hilarious considering how I’d be feeling on the inside. So if it can give me a noticeable glow on less than 2 hours sleep, then it will definitely do the same for you!
The texture is feather-light and absorbs instantly, immediately leaving your skin soft and hydrated. The scent is heavenly too, but only if you enjoy the scents of lavender, sandalwood and patchouli. If you don’t, or are allergic to lavender, maybe give it a miss.

It’s not easy to narrow it down to one favourite product :). I have only tried a sample of the sound sleep cocoon and loved it! I love using the biolumin-c serum and the calm water gel is also amazing. I also struggle to find the right night cream and think the sound sleep cocoon would be perfect.
