New in from Dermalogica

It’s not often that I find two skincare favourites from the same launch, but it happened recently with two new Dermalogica products.

The first is the Intensive Moisture Cleanser (R499 for 150ml and R299 for 295ml). But let’s be honest, what in that name would I not love?

It removes makeup with ease (I still use Bioderma Sensibio to remove my waterproof mascara, though), and leaves the skin soft and supple. It’s a thick, cream formula that contains something called BioReplenish Complex to help strengthen, replenish and support the skin’s lipid barrier.

The second is the Skin Smoothing Cream (R299 for 15ml, R829 for 50 and R1179 for 100ml). I’m not sure of the exact stats, but I’m almost certain that ALL South Africans suffer from dehydrated skin (read the difference between dry and dehydrated skin here). This formula harnesses advanced hydration technologies to deliver 48 hours of continuous hydration thanks to clever delivery systems.

The complex formula contains a new technology called Active HydraMesh, which works on a molecular level to form a hydrating mesh over the surface of the skin to prevent moisture loss. This is combined with hyaluronic acid, grape seed extract, as well as vitamins C and E to offer antioxidant protection and deep hydration.

I’ve been using both for over a month now, and am so impressed with how plump and well hydrated my skin is. I haven’t needed to use a hydrating serum at night because it’s much less dry than before.

    Hi Bibian

    Thanks for your message.

I see you’re based in Nigeria. I’ve contacted Elizabeth Arden South Africa (where I’m based), and they have confirmed that Elizabeth Arden does retail in Nigeria, but as they don’t do the distribution in your region, they don’t know which products are stocked.

Sorry I couldn’t be of any help,
